Darren GreyOctober 24, 2012 at 6:03 AMMP3 is the more accessible format, alas, for our recording software, iTunes and the little flash player above.
Duplicate format support and hosting is not an option.
If it’s quality you’re worried about then… well, this is a podcast, sound quality is really not relevant, especially with our mix of mediocre microphones.
We tend to use very poor encoding for this reason.
If you literally can’t play MP3s then you should be able to find a media converter easily enough.I hope you can continue to enjoy the podcast in spite of our inferior encoding

Dwarf Fortress is a construction and management simulation computer game set in a procedurally generated fantasy world in which the player indirectly controls a group of dwarves, and attempts to construct a successful underground fortress.
Tarn Adams works on Dwarf Fortress with his brother Zach.
What is the objective of Dwarf Fortress?
Does the way you’ve designed the gameplay reflect any philosophy about life that you have?
What language is Dwarf Fortress written in?
Do people build constructs in Dwarf Fortress that you would never have expected?
Did your studying complex math at Stanford affect how you’ve developed Dwarf Fortress?
What advice would you give to developers listening that want to create their own game?
