We’ve got another great episode for you today. I had the absolute pleasure of talking with Cat Tobin, the managing director and co-owner of Pelgrane Press. Pelgrane Press puts out a ton of great roleplaying games like Trail of Cthulhu, The 13th Age, Hillfolk, and Gumshoe! I talked with Cat about Cthulhu Apocalypse, a survival horror supplement for Trail of Cthulhu.
Cat also drops some exclusive never before heard info on not one but TWO potential projects that may be coming to Kickstarter from Pelgrane in the future. We got to talking about some other not so secret projects as well so take a listen to hear all about the awesome products that Pelgrane Press is working on! - See more at: http://tabletoptorch.com/2015/07/cthulhu-apocalypse/#sthash.WMnBLYag.AYONgvWB.dpuf
Hey! We aren’t dead…. yet!
We do apologize for the long hiatus, as Conventions (planning and executing) and Life in general have gotten in the way of, and eaten our podcasting time away.
In this episode, we talk a little bit about 1d4Con 2015, John got married the weekend after, and James (me) is having twins! We also talk about the “Favorite Game” Contest and announce our two winners: Zac C. and Moe T.
The episode’s main topic is all about GUMSHOE, written by Robin D. Laws, expanded upon by many great writers/developers (Ken Hite, Kevin Kulp, David Allsop, Jason Morningstar, Graham Walmsley, Gareth Rider-Hanrahan, and many more), and published/distributed by Pelgrane Press. We have a discussion about some of the game system’s mechanics and the many flavors/varieties that it is available in.
We hope that you enjoy the show.
If you have any comments, feedback, system you want us to talk about, or even a topic you want us to discuss; either leave a comment on this episode’s post, send us an email, or use our Contact Page! We’d love to hear from you and will read your email on the next episode!
