In June 1999, peer to peer file sharing service, Napster, launched forever changing the music industry. Seemingly over night people were swapping millions of free music files, for free.

Today, we talk to three musicians about their perspective on how the music industry has changed. Galt MacDermot shares insights into his career from writing the music for Hair to having his music sampled by everything from Handsome Boy Modeling School to Busta Rhymes, The Simulators share their experience playing music in Denver, CO, and Oliver Tank shares how we released is second LP allowing people to ‘pay what they want’ and his success as an independent artist.
