Plus we answered listener questions and did a round of Just Me Or Everyone.

  4. Beating The Book with Gill Alexander : Beating The Book: The 6th Annual Vegas Lifestyle Show: A Man’s Guide to Sin City

It's the only non-sports betting episode of the calendar year, but for some, it's the most anticipated.  If you're planning a trip to Vegas, let this be your guide.  Host Gill Alexander, Marco D'Angelo, and man about town, Ace, take off their handicapping hats and are joined by Marc Meltzer of Covers.com and a variety of Vegas websites to discuss the best Steakhouses, Sportsbooks, Nightclubs, and Strip Clubs in Las Vegas.  The Super Bowl's not for awhile.  In the meantime, enjoy a man's guide to Sin City, on Wednesday's Beating The Book (January 25, 2017).

    Show Summary

Adam welcomes Vinnie Tortorich to the podcast right at the top of the show. Adam then follows up on gluten-free products, and the guys rank vegetables in terms of their health benefits. Adam also rants about his hair gel left open, and an incoherent post-debate interview with DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile. After that, the guys play a round of What Would Vinnie Do. Before the break, Adam takes fan phone calls about what to do as a stay at home dad, how to deal with a particular police interaction, and Sonny’s chances of getting into a good school.

Eric Felten calls in next, and Adam talks with him about everything from podcasting to martinis to the jazz trombone. They also talk about his writing career, including a piece for National Geographic, and his thoughts on last night’s debate. Other topics of discussion include the virtue of loyalty, and the terrible music of today’s youth. As the show wraps up, the guys do a recap of the final Presidential Debate.
