In this episode of the Hawk’s Nest, we revisit and revel in the Seahawks impressive victory this past Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Hawks went and once again conquered that dreaded 10AM start time, while also remaining undefeated on the road, which is a franchise record. The offense was still sleepwalking through most of this game, but luckily, for a second straight week the defense came to save the day.
We dive into the rumors that leaked last week that the Seahawks reportedly turned down a trade offer from the Lions of a 3rd round pick for Rashaad Penny. There was a loud contingent of Seahawk fans who were wishing this trade had been consumated. Hopefully, his last career best game, shut up some of those doubters. I go in depth as to why this trade would have been stupid and very short-sighted.
