  1. Troika #1: ‘Music for Stars’

The first edition of Troika is about classical ambient music that’s all connected by Adam Wiltzie from Stars of the Lid. We start with ‘Homemade Mountains’ by Christina Vantzou (who Wiltzie worked with on ‘The Dead Texan’ project), then ‘Don’t bother they’re here’ by Stars of the Lid, and finish with ‘Steep Hills of Vicodin Tears’ by A Winged Victory for the Sullen (Wiltzies’ current collaboration with composer Dustin O’Halloran).

Stars of the Lid were named after the lightshow you see with your eyes closed, so lie back, pop your headphones on, and without any further interruption from me, lets see where the music takes us!…

  2. ‘Boy 1904’ from ‘Riceboy sleeps’ by Jonsi and Alex

With Jonsi being the lead singer of Sigur Ros, the tone of this track shouldn’t be a big suprise, except that it’s a choral gloriousness!
