Utfordringer innen identitetshåndtering og autentisering

(Lecture in Norwegian) Over the last decades, there have been many advances in how we manage identity in computer systems, and even how we think about identity. In spite of this, Unix is still stuck with a forty year old paradigm. While many new technologies have emerged, the usual response is to shoehorn them into the same outdated interfaces, and in the process discard much of the information and functionality these technologies offer. It is time to take a long hard look at the way we identify and authenticate users and start thinking about alternatives.
