Without a wide range of animals, plants and microorganisms, we cannot have the healthy ecosystems that we rely upon to provide us with the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat. The OPW Biodiversity Action Strategy 2022–2026, sets out our intention for protecting, promoting and enhancing biodiversity across all our activities including property, heritage and flood risk management and our intention to mainstream biodiversity as part of all decision processes. This illustrated presentation will give an overview of biodiversity within OPW along with some practical examples that support best practice in Biodiversity conservation.”
