  1. Episode 96: Roman Mars, host of 99% Invisible

I am a fan of public radio. I’ve been fortunate enough to have hosted conversations with both Dick Gordon and Bob Edwards – two of my favorite public radio interviewers – for this podcast.

Earlier this year, I discovered the 99% Invisible podcast thanks to a recommendation made by my Stitcher app. I’ve been hooked ever since!

Our guest, Roman Mars, is the producer and host of this great podcast! I was delighted when he accepted my invitation to be on the “other side” of the microphone.

  3. Weekend America: Saving the Story

Saving the Story : MIT is teaming up with a new movie studio in Massachusetts to create the storytelling technology of the future. We asked Reporter Sean Cole to look into the story, but instead of doing a radio report about it, he wrote a sci-fi movie-type drama, and cast himself as the reporter. So grab some Jujubes. Sit back. And enjoy the show.

  7. #223: Classifieds from This American Life by Chicago Public Radio

The classifieds from two Chicago newspapers create a portrait of the whole city: jobs offered, missed connections, the crap that people sell each other, and musicians’ ISOs.
