Questa puntata speciale è dedicata al valore della storia nel ciclo di romanzi di Harry Potter di Joanne Kathleen Rowling. I motivi di questa scelta un po’ atipica sono due: il primo è che anche a noi storici piace divertirci e rilassarci con buone letture, e i romanzi della Rowling lo sono. Il secondo motivo, se volete più serioso, riguarda la semplice constatazione che il ciclo di Harry Potter è diventato il più letto e venduto al mondo e che quindi ha ormai di gran lunga superato il Pinocchio di Collodi nella capacità di parlare e inviare messaggi alle nuove generazioni, il tutto enfatizzato dalla trasposizione sul grande schermo, terminata nel luglio 2011.
