We’ll start with the baseball stuff, as after plenty of email and a long discussion about the Michael Young soap opera, we go prospect heavy with detailed discussions of the recently published Reds, Braves and Rangers prospect lists, as well as Jason’s piece this week on the Texas farm system. Then it’s pop culture time, with special guest Steve Albini, a legend in the world of independent music. We talk Chicago punk, recording ethos and why Oney Guillen of all people is a friendly rival. It’s a great interview, and to be honest, no baseball-related guest would have excited me as much. Then it’s the goofy stuff, as Jason relates his dangerous Super Bowl Sunday.
