Continuing our conference season summary from shows 6 and 7, this show is a special English edition that holds the interviews recorded on SQLRally Amsterdam
Preempting our scheduled commentary due to British celebratory statute:
Adam J Purcell, Andy Simpkins, Fake Keith, Jean Riddler, the Real Keith Dunn and Scott Fuller sit down, mind probed, in front of the 1983 Doctor Who anniversary special, The Five Doctors, and spout more than our usual nonsense and generally get in the mood for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary!
Warning: This commentary is at least three times more boisterous than our average effort. Do not listen if you have a history of mind probing in your family or you have ever lost a beloved pet yeti in a freak fireworks accident.
The Doctor is plucking at the harp strings, the Doctor is playing with his Galactic Glitter, the Doctor is taking Rassilon’s tower from above, the Doctor is trapped in some film offcuts and the Doctor is a fake. But enough of their problems, please sit down with us to enjoy Doctor Who’s Twentieth Anniversary Special – The Five Doctors…
So Pete…with the arrival of your show (tonight, EEP!!!) meaning this podcast is cut down to once a week, I have been trying to branch out my podcast listening. I have listened to a few different popular ones that people seem to be real big fan of, and what I have learned is that I just cannot get on board with ones that aren’t yours! Everybody else just asks the typical interview type questions, talks about the boring stuff for an hour, and it’s over. THAT’S IT. You are giving us 1-3 hours a week of REAL, touching, open, hilarious, sometimes beautifully sad listening, and I so appreciate that. Your podcast has honestly got me through some real tough times, and I hope you never ever stop doing it. Thank you so much for this beautiful episode. June is a treasure. A total kook, of course, but that’s a good thing in my books. Thanks for this! Just so lovely.
This week is a special podcast comprised of questions from the Bulletproof community! Sources for the questions include e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, the forum and the blog. Click here to download the mp3. Did you know you can get a free

Q & A:
19:00 I’m in the process of building my first real web app. I’ve been researching the best way to handle authentication and some have suggested to use pre-written scripts, while others have suggested using a framework. What should I do?
45:52 Everything I know I have learned from “just building websites” but with that style of learning, comes an urgency which often makes me feel like I may not have picked up on some of the finer points. Do you have any advice?
