Former Prime Minister of Australia Former Prime Minister, The Hon Bob Hawke AC, delivered the inaugural ANU Commencement Address to mark the beginning of the 2010 academic year at The Australian National University on Friday 19 February. This will be the first year that the University will welcome new students to campus with an annual address by an Australian who has made a contribution to the development of ANU as a university of national and international significance.
