A few words from Zach on his Yuri’s Night experience….
Yuri’s Night at The Academy of Sciences has always been one of my favorite events to play as a Space Cowboy. Our friends, both new and old, come out in full force for the evening. The Unimog makes a special cameo appearance and the dance floor is always fun and lively. I had the good fortune of playing the closing set to an enthusiastic crowd at the end of the night and I think the energy from the dance floor really comes through in this recording. I was pretty pleased with how it came out.
I had a lot of fun getting into the sprit of Yuri’s night with this mix. A quick search on iTunes a few days ago produced some voice drops from the famous Apollo 11, 15 and 17 missions which I’ve added to the background just for fun.
