Music recommendation is broken - automatic music recommenders make mistakes that no human would ever make. In this talk, we will explore why recommenders make such dumb mistakes and we will explore some of the new ideas coming from recommendation and music researchers to help make music recommendations better.

Approved in December 2008 by The World Wide Web Consortium, the new "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0" is now the official recommendation for web accessibility for the disabled. Known as WCAG 2.0 for short, this document is a welcomed update, and replaces the WCAG 1.0 recommendation of 1999. Web content will meet the new accessibility guidelines if it is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
