I received a few tickets for failing to have have the proper ticket to ride the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).
The offense is called here "fare evasion".
Because each offense was due to DART employees telling me to purchase the wrong ticket for the ticket machines not working, etc., I contacted the fine folks (sarcasm) at Pre-Paid Legal and left a message with their answering service.
A few hours later, an attorney with the program literally left me a message, "Uh, I got a message that you’re having some king of problem with a FAIRY INVASION… Please call me back if you still need my help."
Needless to say, I don’t consult Pre-Paid Legal for any serious assistance anymore…
