    Examines the concept that the US is "the wealthiest country in the history of the world" in light of our private and foreign debt. Analyzes $10 million/day in foreign aid to Israel based on statistics of prosperity from Masada 2000. Proposes a way to reduce our supersized country and CA state to a more manageable network of Ecuadors and Denmarks.

Jerry Mander and Koohan Paik write about the collusion and deception, and how 1500 citizens and surfers took direct action to stop the oncoming colossus.

    Includes the poem "A Message from Space" by William Stafford. Talks about the Portland multilingual orchestra, Pink Martini, and plays "Hang On Little Tomato" and "Song of the Black Swan." Mentions an antiwar video set to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Dedicates "We Walk the Same Line" from Everything But the Girl.
